Uphold Our Principles
Introduction
The chalice of our hands lifts our communal Spirit and shape our heaven.
Imbalance Begets Balance
Principle: Justice, equity and compassion in human relations.
Interpretation:We are joined hand to hand in balencing our lives.
Weaving a Life
Principle: Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.
Interpretation: With the strands of life woven in each cell, we are a tapestry through time.
Helping Hand
Principle: The inherent worth and dignity of every person.
Interpretation: Is heaven a place where no one needs help; or a place where everyone helps anyone?
Untited by Choice
Principle: The rights of conscience and the use of democratic processes.
Interpretation:By voting on a choice we share an opposition.
Build Community
Principle:The goal of world community with peace, liberty and justice for all.
Interpretation:Fellowship, friendliness, diversity, and agreement expressed by shaking hands.
Finding Spirit
Principle:Acceptance of one another and encouragement of spiritual growth.
Interpretation: Prayer and meditation are but two ways to grow spirit.
Step towards Freedom
Principle:A free and responsible search for truth and meaning.
Interpretation:Perhaps learning to walk is the greatest step we take toward a free exploration of our world. As we move toward places unknown; we moved away from our mother's security.
